2nd Opinions

There are many reasons to seek a doctor’s second opinion. Perhaps your OBGyn has made a treatment recommendation and you want to be sure it is the best course of action.  Or you’re unconvinced that the diagnosis is accurate or requires further testing for you to be reassured.  Very commonly women who need surgery visit us to explore if the operation that has been proposed can be accomplished through minimally invasive surgery; thereby fixing the problem through smaller incisions so they experience far less pain and have a much shorter recovery lasting days instead of weeks.

During the past 27 years that I have been in clinical practice, I have accumulated valuable wisdom. Likewise, I have kept current with the medical literature and frequently attend continuing medical education conferences that allow me to offer state of art care to my patients.

We are here to help you with a 2nd opinion:

  • Please obtain printed copies of imaging and pathology reports, as well as recent clinical notes and bring them with you to your appointment.
  • Call 510.796.0510 or click on this link to schedule your 2nd opinion appointment with Dr. Kramer

During your consultation, we will first listen to your concerns and then review clinical notes & reports that you brought with you. We’ll then educate you about all reasonable options so you can make an informed decision that you feel comfortable putting into action either with us or current OBGyn.
